Staying Organized

I don't know about y'all, but my life would be in complete shambles if I didn't have an Agenda attached to my hip 24/7. If it doesn't go in my agenda there is an absolute possibility I will forget it. Since I do rely on my agenda to keep my life together I see the value in purchasing a quality agenda that will hold up throughout the year. I wanted to share with y'all some agendas that I love.

While I have never purchased a Kate Spade agenda, I am a huge fan of Kate Spade and I bet the agendas are no exception. I love how simple and elegant they are and in the past you have been able to buy refills too. There are also a ton of cute little accessories you can get to go along with your agenda. How adorable are these bow paperclips?

I have used this agenda for the past several years and I absolutely love it. These agendas come in fabulous Lilly Pulitzer patterns and in three different sizes too! I like the large sized agenda. It is the perfect size to throw in a school tote or a large purse. The medium size would be a perfect for an "on the go" girl. The Lilly Pulitzer agendas also comes with a sticker page, and come on, who doesn't like stickers. These agendas are available for pre-order now!

Erin Condren takes personalization to the max in her Life Planners. You can customize this thing to your heart's content. You can add pictures, your name on the front, and customized color options. You are also able to specify over what time frame you would like your Life Planner to run. There are options to add pen holders, pouches, stickers, you name it she probably does it. Unfortunately the Life Planners are out of stock, but pre-sales start in June! Below I included images of the Teacher's Planner and the Wedding Planner to give you an idea of what the Life planner might look like. Be sure to check the website in June!

Happy Planning!

May Birchbox

This month's Birchbox took a little longer than expected to arrive. While I was bubbling with anticipation, Birchbox recognized the delay and sent me 100 free Birchbox points that can be used to purchase full sized items from their online store. That is some great customer service right there.

Let's dive into my May Birchbox...

I tried out this Kerastase Cristalliste Hair Mask the first night after receiving my BirchBox. I was super excited for this product because I am having a constant battle with my dry strands. Unfortunately, this little sample wasn't quite enough product for my thick hair and I don't think I got the full experience. I didn't find that this product was worth the price of the full sized product at $61. I am still on the hunt for a great moisturizing hair mask

The next product was the Caldrea Body Lotion. My sample came in the aloe water apricot scent. What I love about this product is that it is vegan and made of all natural ingredients. The scent is beautiful and the texture is light and smooth.

I was also sent a Caldrea Body Wash in the scent Tea Olive Lime. I haven't used this product yet, but if it is anything like their body lotion I am sure I will love it. The scent is bright and refreshing. It would be the perfect scent for a morning shower wake me up.

This has to be my favorite product from my Birchbox this month. It is the Jouer luminizing moisture tint. My product is in the shade Opal. I was sure that the product was going to be too light for my fair complexion, but surprisingly I was wrong and it was the perfect shade! I love that this product has SPF 20 in it and it is so light and goes on smoothly. It is perfect to use before a day at the pool or the beach because it has just the right amount of tint to cover those imperfections, yet not feel too heavy. The full size product is $38 and I am planning to purchase when my sample runs out.

Speaking of a day at the beach, this product Supergoop would be perfect! When I received this product the name made me think it was going to be thick and heavy, but it is just the opposite. The sunscreen has SPF 30 and smells less like the traditional coconut sunscreen smell and more like a refreshing lime scent. The full sized product is $19 and would be a great investment for your summer beach bag.

My final product was the Color Club Art Duo Pen in black. This is such a cool product for nail designs. It has a pen top for an ultra precise design and a slender brush for stripes and swirls. While I do not usually wear designs on my nails, I will say it is fun to play around with. The full sized product comes in a set of 3 for $25 (black, white, and lavender)!

Friday Faves

Thank goodness it is Friday! And I don't think it could be a more beautiful day to kick off the weekend.

Here are a few of my Friday Faves for this week.

How beautiful are these fresh flowers from the Mount Pleasant Farmer's Market? Can every weekend start like this?

May's Birchbox finally arrived this week. Be on the lookout for the May Birchbox review coming soon!

Breakfast in bed this morning...also note the patriotic berries celebrating Memorial Day Weekend ;)

I hope everyone had a fabulous week and will have an even better Memorial Day Weekend. What big plans do you have for the weekend?

Birthday Recap

So I haven't been extremely devoted to posting lately but I am trying to get back in the swing. It's ironic that when I have more free time on my hands, the less likely I am to post rather than when I am midway through finals week were suddenly I cannot stop! Procrastination at its finest.

I wanted to share a little birthday recap with you all via iPhone photos I took thought the day.

My first stop on my birthday was Starbucks for my free birthday drink...Grande Soy Hazelnut Macchiato please!

Following a pedicure and a visit with some family friends I went to my absolute favorite sushi restaurant in Augusta, Takosushi. This place is a unexpected fusion of sushi and Mexican cuisine. Any place where I can get cheese dip and a sushi roll is fine by me!

After a delicious lunch with a couple of my closest girls and a little shopping I did some laying in the sun with friends and this little guy. Isn't he the cutest?

Before going out to dinner with the family I opened a few presies! My brother (with Mom's help) got me these Jcrew espadrilles from my Birthday Wish-list. I have been wearing these bad boy everywhere and let me tell you, they are comfortable... and this is coming from a girl who stands 8 hours a day at work. If you don't already own a pair of espadrilles, or even if you do, you need to invest. You won't regret it!

Dessert #1

Dessert #2

After a fabulous dinner at Edgar's Grill, where I had dessert number one, the delicious dark chocolate flour-less cake. We came home for cake and ice cream, dessert number two. Calories don't count on your birthday right? At least that's what I tell myself.

The fun didn't even stop on my birthday. When I came back to Charleston I was greeted with a package from my Big which was pretty much the best surprise ever. Big sent me these tortoiseshell-esque Kate Spade earrings and I am in love! They are perfect right?

My birthday this year was one of the best I can remember. I loved having a relaxed day full of people and things that I love. I received so many birthday wishes and it truly reminded me of how lucky I am to have so many people that care about me. So a huge thank you to everyone who made my birthday so special this year!
